Causes and Prevention of Burnout in Human Companies Staff Newspaper According to the Merriam-Webster's Dictionary (2011) burnout is described as the " exhaustion of physical or perhaps emotional durability usually due to prolonged anxiety or frustration”. In large stressed job environments, a worker can truly feel burnout. This is also true for human services services because they are regularly working with the general public. Factors That Causes Burnout

Termes conseilles can be trigger by individual, cultural, company, supervisory, and social support elements. Individual elements can include a person's personality type, and/or his or hers work related goals. If the person models unrealistic operate related goals, such as, thinking that they can save every kid from misuse, that person can become burned out quickly. Also at times a person's character type will never fit very well with their job choice in human services.

A cultural factor that may lead to a staff to become burned out is if the business polices will be against the employee's cultural values. Sometimes inside the human solutions field, a worker will have to choose between their job and their culture. If this is a continuing battle pertaining to the employee, the employee will become tired.

According to Lewis, Lewis, and Packard (2007) some organizational factors that could lead to an employee to become burned out will be, " insufficient feedback, wide range of conflict, no trust, overburden, and provides a job with low encouraging potential”.
